magnetic yellow ribbons

To those on the other side of the aisle who are opposed, I want to ask you the same questions that my gunner asked me when I was leading a convoy up and down Ambush Alley one day. He said, ‘Sir, what are we doing over here? What's our mission? When are these Iraqis going to come off the sidelines and fight for their own country?' So to my colleagues across the aisle - - - your taunts about supporting our troops ring hollow if you are still unable to answer those questions now four years later.

Wow, that is so messed up. Oh yeah, and nice to meet you. You may have heard about EvilKat, Kmart, and I doing stupid things (usually starting with lying in the yard and eating smoked oysters) drunkenly during kollege...and now too I supposed, but that has been less effectively broadcasted.
I work for a liberal think tank and my boyfriend is a career army officer. So I like to think perhaps you and I get frusturated about the same things, from libs and repubs alike.
ps I'm back to blogging at http://thelongway-jaybee.blogspot.com/
