nice shootin' kid

This is the floor of my office at the largest software company in the world. Four of us are crammed in a tiny corner office that was probably intended to be a supply closet or printer room. Once in awhile someone will trip over the wires and disconnect the internets from our computers. It's kind of like going to work for Mercedes and finding out they have a fleet of Ford Tempos for company cars.

Anyway, I interviewed yesterday with a firm downtown, and as I was on my way to get some afternoon beers with Mr. Freeman, they called to offer me the job. I start on Tuesday. I'm taking my time getting in to the Evil Empire today because all I'm doing today is quitting.
